A Message from the Pastor

Antioch West is one of three congregations that make up Antioch the Apostolic Church, one of the largest multi-cultural, spirit-led churches in Maryland. Antioch West was founded in June of 2016 because we believe that God has a great harvest and revival in store for the western part of Anne Arundel County. In Mark 16, God instructed us to “Go into all the world, and make disciples.” So we went.

First and foremost, we believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God.  The Bible makes it clear- there is no neutral response to experiencing the power of God, it changes things.  We believe there is power in the Word of God and in the name of Jesus to change us and to change our world. His Word promises that He will forgive, redeem, and restore us; that He will endow us with His Spirit, and with power, peace, and purpose; that He will transform us - exchanging our captivity for freedom, our mourning for dancing, and our sorrow for joy. During these times of great turmoil and chaos in our world, He will be our shelter and our refuge, and the one who sets things right.

We strive to follow the lead of the Holy Ghost in all that we do, and our goal is to be a church that is a "21st Century Expression of a 1st Century Experience."

An encounter with God is life changing. We hope to see you soon,

Pastor Joel Wright
